The email you just interacted with is a fake phishing email designed by your internal security team. It is solely aimed to help you learn to spot and avoid real phishing emails. We kindly ask that you do not share your experience with colleagues, so they can also learn from their own experience.

Clicking on a dangerous link in an email puts you and your employer at risk! Be aware that this was a test. A real phishing email could have led to your computer being infected with malicious software and provided hackers with access to your company's network, sensitive data or internal systems.

• Always hover your mouse over a link to discover its real destination.
• Do not download any email attachments without first verifying their source.
• Verify email content by calling the company or user by using known details or by visiting their company site. Do not use the contact details in an email.
• If you feel specifically targeted in your role by the way the email was designed to trick you, please contact IT Security.
• Do not click or respond to malicious emails.
• Ask your IT or IT Security department for assistance if unsure.
